In the end, it does not matter if your tribe has 10 people or 10000 people. What matters is how you lead a small group of devoted people can turn a small tribe into a worldwide movement. All you need is one leader.

Today I want to share a new book that came my way from my friend, Kristin Arnold. Kristin is the president of the National Speakers Association and an all around fabulous woman. I had the opportunity to spend time with her at the recent NSA convention and was wowed by her not-so-traditional thoughts on the art of speaking and her just-plain practical approach to business.

Chances are you have heard of Seth Godin. He has published a number of great business and marketing books, writes an excellent blog, and may be (or at least will be) considered one of the great marketing geniuses of our time. Linchpin is his latest book and differs to some degree than his previous publications. You could argue that this book exudes a more motivational tone than his others.

I thoroughly enjoyed “Lead Like Ike: Ten Business Strategies From The CEO Of D-Day” by Geoff Loftus. As a former soldier and someone who studies all things martial, and as someone with business and law degrees who speaks on the topics using military and warrior references, this book was extremely informative and enjoyable to read.

This book review is on Trading Instincts by Curtis Faith, the well known author of the book: Way of the Turtles. Most trading self-help books are incredibly drab. They are generally written by moderately successful and unsuccessful traders or by self-promoting pseudo psychologists. This book does not fit into that mould. Curtis Faith is one of the most successful Turtles of his generation.

Published in 2007, “Be A Network Marketing Superstar” is by no means ‘new’ in the fast paced world of which it speaks. That its value persists in the 3 years past original publication shows what a worthwhile read it is. This book is a ‘must have’ for every library (or at least an upload on every Kindle) belonging to a network marketer.

Born March 21, 1916, J. Earl Shoaff came from a poor farming family. During the Great Depression while he was in the ninth grade, he decided to drop out of school so he could work and contribute financial support to his family. Shoaff was born with a heart condition and when he became old enough his service was denied by the military during World War II.
